TXA 5% + Niacinamide 4% Even Tone Cream
Planning figures — not yet confirmed
Our flagship, and the product we would hand someone on day one. Two actives that interrupt pigment at different points, at concentrations we publish in full.
Actives
Two actives, two different steps of the pigment pathway, in one daily cream.
- Who it is for
- For anyone whose marks are the last thing to fade — sun spots across the cheeks, flat brown patches left behind after a breakout, or the slow general unevenness that shows up in photographs before it shows up in the mirror.
- The problem
- Across this category the two recurring complaints are: nothing happened, or it burned. Both usually trace back to the same cause — one mechanism pushed hard enough to irritate, instead of two moderate ones working together.
- How it works
- Tranexamic acid acts upstream, on the signal that tells a melanocyte to start producing pigment. Niacinamide acts downstream, on the transfer of that pigment into surrounding skin cells. Interrupting both is why a moderate dose outperforms a maximal one.
- How to use
- Morning and night, after cleansing and water-based steps. A pea-sized amount covers the face; press in rather than rub. SPF every morning is part of the protocol, not an optional extra.
What supports it
- 5% tranexamic acid — the level used in melasma research, not a token inclusion.
- 4% niacinamide. Above roughly 5%, tolerability drops sharply and people stop before week eight.
- Alpha-arbutin 2% as a third, slower route for the marks that resist everything else.
- 4.6 stars across 1,284 reviews.
In short
- Concentrations printed on the front of the pack — no proprietary blend hiding a 0.1% active.
- Built for twice-daily use from week one, not a build-up schedule you will quietly abandon.
- Ceramide and squalane base, so the barrier improves while the pigment fades.
- Fragrance-free and non-comedogenic.
What to expect, and when
- Week 2–4Surface texture changes first. Tone will not have moved yet — this is expected, not failure.
- Week 6–8The edges of individual marks begin to look less defined under consistent light.
- Week 10–12Measurable change in overall evenness. This is when most people notice it in photographs.
Compatibility
Pairs with
- TX-03 serum underneath, TX-04 toner pad beforehand, KT-02 for the body.
Required alongside
- SPF is mandatory. Untreated UV exposure will outpace any topical product you apply.
Do not combine
- Do not stack with: retinoids or other exfoliating acids in the same application.
