PDRN

Often credited with more than it does. Supporting role in these formulas.
PDRN is the fastest-emerging active we observed in this category. We are watching it. We are not betting on it.

Why not higher
We are watching it, not betting on it. The topical evidence base has not caught up to the injectable one.
What it does
What it is
PDRN — polydeoxyribonucleotide — is a DNA-derived fragment, most commonly sourced from salmon or trout sperm. It has an established injectable use in some markets for tissue repair and skin quality, and it has recently migrated into topical Korean skincare.
What the market data shows
A competitor PDRN cream launched late 2025 had reached roughly $231,000 in lifetime GMV by September 2026, supported by an 18% commission rate — noticeably above the 15% category norm, which usually signals a brand actively buying creator coverage. That is real momentum, but it is early, and the topical evidence base has not caught up to the injectable one.
Our position
One test SKU at most, funded as an experiment rather than a launch. If the evidence matures and the category consolidates around a standardised, well-characterised topical form, we will build the line properly. Until then, we would rather tell you the evidence is young than sell you certainty we do not have.
Emerging active, early-stage evidence. We include it here because you will see it marketed — not because we consider it established.
Safety notes
Not currently formulated in any ToneLab product. Included here for transparency because it is heavily marketed in the category.
